ARTIST PROFILE
Nishita is a Delhi based architect with 10 years of experience in the field of architecture and sustainability. Due to the nature of her profession and her interest in travelling, she has explored a lot of Indian and International buildings. Her art works are her interpretations of what she observes. She draws and paints with pen, ink and acrylic on paper, canvas, wood and whatever she can lay her hands on!Nishita is a Delhi based architect with 10 years of experience in the field of architecture and sustainability. Her works depict Indian monuments and modern International build- ings in abstract form using intricate repetitive lines, curves and patterns. She loves to explore different mediums and surfaces. Presently, she is experimenting with resin and wood to create sculptural furniture andexclusive home decor pieces.Nishita has exhibited her artworks in Dallas (USA), Lalit Kala Academy’s 1st International Kala Mela- 2018, Khajuraho Art Mart International- 2018, Civil Services Officers Institute (CSOI) Art Gallery- 2018, RPR Gallery Delhi- 2018 and Garhi Artist Studio- 2019.
