Registration and Bhoomi Pooja of 4 1/2 acres land at Gundlupet, Melkamannahalli at the foothills of the Nilgiris.

Soft launch of Mantram art village at Gundlupet on World Nature conservation day. Named DrishyAM. 


This was attended by more than a 100 neighbouring tribal kids Schools outreach: scholarship & Life Skills through Frisbee at Morarji Desai School, Melukamnahalli, Hangala, Chamarajanagar

ArtMantram activities on Tribal Welfare in Chamarajanagar District, Gundlupet Taluk, Hangala & Mangala Hobli.

  • 6 Nov- Initiated a Livelihood training & skill development program for tribal youth, in collaboration with Jungle Lodges and Resorts and Forest dept, GOK.  Impact 30 Tribal youth of Bandipur area will be trained for 3 months and be given On the job training with placement support as Naturalists cum hospitality staff in resorts, golf clubs & homestays.  (Training Program including the on the job training runs from Nov to May)

  • 7 Nov – MEDICAL SCREENING CAMP in collaboration with Rotary Club of Bangalore for 500 school children of 3 tribal schools in Hangala & Mangala area.  General check up, eye and dental screening, with plans for follow up.

  • 7 Nov – Vocational services- for Women Interactions by Revathi Venkaraman of NGO ‘Awake’.

  • 7 Nov- Environmental awareness & Plog run. No Plastic Initiative & Graffiti –in collaboration with RYLA & Tiger Reserve, near GopalaSwamy Betta premises.

  • 7 Nov & 8 Nov – RYLA (Rotractors Youth Leadership Award) Interactive talks on -Confidence building, career counselling, WildLife Conservation &  Challenges.

  • 8th Nov’23 – Life Skills through Art and games through Frisbee & Table Tennis

  • 8th Nov’23 – 10th Nov’23 – Sewing session for 30 school children with Ms. Kashmira Nair & Roshan Elavia.

  • 8th Nov’23 – 10th Nov’23 – Art sessions with for 40 school children our International renowned Artist Mr. Ramesh Terdal.

 

19th June’24 Sumangali Seva Ashram – Empowerment of tribal women: Met with the tribe 


29th july’24: visit 3 schools & villages. Dist.tablet,stationery, Sarees & blankets 


2nd Sept – MOU Signed Sumangali Seva Ashram
